What’s On? The Gallery Café and St Margaret’s House

St. Margaret’s House is a local treasure that has something for almost everyone. Below is a quick look at what it has to offer:

Low cost office space and room hire: St. Margaret’s House is home to over 30 different community organisations and charities. If you’re a community or not-for-profit organisation operating in Tower Hamlets, they offer a number of room hire facilities at low rates, as well as subsidised office spaces to rent. Volunteers: The work achieved at St. Margaret’s House would not be possible without the support of its volunteers. Whether it’s helping out at their charity shop or helping out at a workshop, if you would like to volunteer you can e-mail: volunteer@stmargaretshouse.org.uk to learn about all of the opportunities available.

Vegan and Vegetarian food: The Gallery Café offers a beautiful selection of vegan and vegetarian food, as well as an eclectic programme of live events and a monthly art exhibition from emerging artists. You can check out the menu and opening hours here.

Yoga, fitness and dance classes: The East London Community Wellbeing is their latest project. They provide low-cost yoga, pilates, fitness, and dance classes for the Bethnal Green community. They offer a selection of classes in their hall and The YogaNest studio at 27 Old Ford Road. You can find their yoga + fitness timetable here.

A diverse programme of cultural events: St Margaret’s House hosts a wide array of events throughout the year – from art exhibitions to film screenings.
