The acquisition – Keatons acquire Royal Docks Estate Agents.

The acquisition means that we now have a stronger presence in the Docklands area, a unique waterfront, and a growing home for business and culture in East London. This vast Royal Docks area in the borough of Newham is re-emerging as a commercial and cultural hub of global significance and an exciting new waterfront.

Over the years, we have seen Royal Docks become a vibrant and exciting waterside destination, with brand new developments situated in the area along with London City Airport, which has become one of the busiest airports in the UK.

The Royal Docks was originally named after the Royal Albert Dock, Royal Victoria Dock, and the King George V Dock. Not only have we seen new developments, but we have also seen the opening of the University of East London and the ExCel International Exhibition Centre.

Royal Docks has also become a new hub for business professionals as well as an enviable place to live with incredible river views and beautifully designed apartments and townhouses. With the Royal Docks Enterprise Zone being the only Enterprise Zone in London, Royal Docks has plenty to offer for everyone.

Transport Links from Royal Docks

Royal Docks has great commuter links.  With many Londoners commuting day-to-day, there’s a vast selection of transport methods to travel to and from nearby London districts. London City Airport has been named as one of the busiest London airports, which provides flights internationally.

From the Royal Wharf Pier, you have the option to take the Thames Clipper which offers an exciting way to travel the city or a more relaxing route to work, as a comfortable alternative to traditional London transport.

The Elizabeth Line Crossrail is due to launch in late 2021.  This will be running through 37 stations for a total of 73 miles, from west to east. The line is expected to stop at Reading, Heathrow Airport, Central London, Shenfield.
